e-Bidding System

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The Tender form along with BOQ and instructions to bidders etc may be downloaded on Local Government Website ebidding.lcbkp.gov.pk after publishing in newspapers. The Tender should be accepted with original Call Deposit in the name of Tehsil Municipal Officer, TMA Kohat.

1. All the tenders/bidding shall be done on “Percentage below/above” on MRS-2019.
2. Tender form be accompany with original Call Deposit, Contractors should send their bid documents in single envelop. Contractors are bound to test all types of material from the laboratory on his own expenses as per the direction of Engineer Incharge. The tender form should be sent in original to this office through register courier service and duplicate copy of the bid be send to office of Secretary Local Council Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
3. As per Clause 37(A) of KPPRA rules, all bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority.
4. In pursuance of KPPRA Notification No. KPPRA/M&E/ESTT/1-17/2019-20, Dated 12-06-2020, in case of bid/rate quoted by the bidder more than 10% below engineer estimate in the form of percentage. The amount of additional bid security shall be equal to the impact of financial difference occurring in the quoted rate beyond 10% below engineer estimate.
5. In such eventuality the successful bidder shall be bound to produce the additional bid security with in three working days from the issuance of letter of acceptance, failing which the procuring entity shall forfeit the bid security of successful bidder and may also initiate legal proceeding against the bidder who repudiated the contract under KPPRA Procurement rules. The address of the bank must be written on the call deposit so that the process of verification could be done easily.
6. The tender form through fax is not acceptable in any case nor tender form will be accepted after the expiry of date and time mentioned above and it is the responsibility of contractor to send tender form well in time.
7. The successful bidder will be required to execute agreement deed with the department within 15 days. Work will be completed as per work order. If there is un-expected holidays announced by the Government on the opening date of tender than the tender will be placed on notice board on next working day.

Note:

• The contractor / firm who have signed the terms and conditions first and then not withdrawn the bid till closing time of bid and those who failed to submit the bid documents to the TMA Kohat will be send to Provincial Govt. for black listing.
• The contractor / firm who submitted fake documents will be considered black listed.
• Work order will be issued after release of fund.
• Only those contractors should submit their bids who are already pre-qualified.
• The contractor will work under the supervision of consultant & department.
